3L News: Draft Pool Revealed

Menard's Third League today released the final list of all players eligible for next month's rookie draft. Now that the list has been made official, close scrutiny of these players can be expected as scouts begin to review this year's up and coming talent.
BNN has added to its Transactions page a section dedicated to the draft pool, which will be available 30 days prior to draft day.
The early favorites to be high picks are the following:
1. Jorge Carranza, 21 year-old RHP out of college.
2. Kenny Gray, 22 year-old CF out of college.
3. Michael Childs, 18 year-old RHP out of high-school.
4. Alan Sanderson, 22 year-old RHP out of college.
5. Andy Johnson, 22 year-old RHP out of college.
6. T.J. Dotson, 21 year-old 2B out of college.
7. Dan Brooks, 22 year-old C out of college.
8. Pat Engen, 23 year-old 2B out of college.
9. Bryan Hess, 20 year-old CF out of college.
10. Bill MacGlasrich, 21 year-old CF out of college.

de Gilde and White Pitch in at Local Homeless Shelter

It is always good to see local athletes use their popularity and status for the good of the community. Today, Raoul de Gilde and Jake White pitched in at local homeless shelter, serving meals for hundreds of underprivileged citizens of Las Vegas. "It's the least we can do", added de Gilde. "I don't do it because I'm a member of the Flamingos, I do it because I care about the community. There's plenty of women and young children among these people, and giving them a hot meal uplifts me as well. Seeing the looks of appreciation on their faces makes it all worth it."
