PL News: Draft Pool Revealed
Monday, December 26th, 2033
The list of players who have declared for the first-year player draft was announced earlier today. BNN will have special coverage dedicated to this draft. Just look in the transaction section for the special page dedicated to the young players hoping to make a name for themselves in the show.
Teams now have a chance to scout the draft pool for 65 days before the draft is held.
The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be:
1. Jeff Cooper, 18 year-old RHP out of high-school.
2. Michael Bradford, 20 year-old RHP out of college.
3. Ralph Greer, 22 year-old LHP out of college.
4. Marcos Germán, 20 year-old C out of college.

Bacareza Cuts Self Badly with Kitchen Knife

Gold Sox starting pitcher Zainal Bacareza received medical attention yesterday after accidentally cutting himself with a kitchen knife at his home. Bacareza was apparently preparing lunch when the knife he was using slipped and cut a large gash in his left ring finger. The cut required 7 stitches and will reportedly keep Bacareza out of action for 2 weeks.
