SL News: Free Agents File

The stroke of midnight signaled the arrival of the often wild and unpredictable free agent filing period.
Most general managers across the SL already have an iron or two in the fire. The players, too, are well-prepared for negotiations. The only participant to get a true head start was the rumor mill, which has been steadily building up heat over the past several weeks.
General managers have the whole offseason to work the free agent market, but the big explosion will probably come quickly as some of these hot properties hit the market today:

Joe Shaw, 32 year-old 2B

SL News: Draft Pool Revealed
Monday, December 27th, 2021
United States Silver League today released the final list of all players eligible for next month's rookie draft. Now that the list has been made official, close scrutiny of these players can be expected as scouts begin to review this year's up and coming talent.
BNN has added to its Transactions page a section dedicated to the draft pool, which will be available 30 days prior to draft day.
The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be:
1. Tyler Jones, 20 year-old 1B out of college.
2. Kenny Alexander, 22 year-old RHP out of college.
3. Melvin Haney, 22 year-old RHP out of college.
4. Jeff Bradshaw, 20 year-old LHP out of college.
5. Edgar Cantú, 22 year-old LHP out of college.
6. José Zavala, 20 year-old RHP out of college.
7. Darrell Goodman, 21 year-old CF out of college.
8. Tony Justice, 22 year-old SS out of college.
9. Luis Peña, 19 year-old LHP out of high-school.
