2AAA Announces Outstanding Batter Award

What a year for Gabriel Rodríguez! He finished the year with a .321 average and today was named the winner of the 2017 League 2 AAA Outstanding Hitter Award.
His season totals included a .394 on-base percentage, 149 hits, 30 doubles, 3 triples, 45 home runs, 146 RBIs and 94 runs scored.Carroll Kline of the Tremont Doubledays finished second in voting, while Arturo Acosta of the Tremont Doubledays finished third.

Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Correa

The League 2 AAA announced today that its 2017 Outstanding Pitcher Award has been given to Bay City Bombers relief specialist Juan Correa.
He had a superlative season, making 15 relief appearances and getting 1 save. Correa ran up a 9-2 record and a 4.78 ERA. He totaled 133.2 innings with 102 strikeouts and 165 hits allowed.Javier Ramírez of the Saint-Jérôme Amish finished second in voting, while Pedro Castro of the Tremont Doubledays finished third.
