5-5 Day for Fleming Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 On top of the Scranton hit parade today was Phil Fleming. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Supernovas to a 8-0 victory over the Bangor Trident Base Ogres. The sweet swinging second baseman told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Ogres wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Phil Fleming singled in the 1st, singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Currently Fleming is batting .318 with 6 home runs, 41 RBIs and 56 runs scored. |
