Bruins Dominate, Sweep League Championship Tuesday, October 24th, 2028 Eugene Gill said he expected the League Championship to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the So Cal Bruins encountered little resistance in sweeping the Plymouth Rocks, to advance to the BSA Championship. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Gill. So Cal won the final game by a 2-1 count and were led in the series by Gill, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .500 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The So Cal Bruins don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Seattle Pikes - Springfield Stars series. Seattle leads the series 2 games to 1.
