Tremblett, Hernández Swap Clubs

It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Niagara Falls Frenzy and Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese finalized a trade today. Niagara Falls will send 27-year-old C Zander Tremblett to the Royale with Cheese, while the Frenzy will receive 18-year-old minor league SS Armando Hernández and 18-year-old minor league RHP Emílio Benítez.
"We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," the Frenzy general manager said.
The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day.
In his career Tremblett has accumulated a .255 batting average with 420 hits. His totals include 67 doubles, 4 triples, 37 home runs, 327 strikeouts, 221 runs scored, 175 RBIs and a lifetime .322 OBP.

Beavers, Marshals Agree to Swap

Baffin Island and Houston have made a swap. Players involved in the transaction are the Beavers 23-year-old minor league 3B Roger Rush, 21-year-old minor league 3B Jim MacAchounich and 31-year-old LHP Edgardo Guzmán and the Marshals 32-year-old LHP Braydon Schute.
In his career stats, Schute has won 69 and lost 38, collecting 1110 strikeouts and 294 walks in 879.2 innings with a 3.46 ERA. Opponents have hit .227 against him.

Baffin Island Deals Walters to Boston for Rocha

The Beavers and Rebels pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 26-year-old RHP Nathan Walters head to Boston in exchange for 33-year-old RHP Tony Rocha and 23-year-old minor league 3B Roger Rush. A source close to Baffin Island officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
In his lifetime, the 26-year-old Walters has won 8 and lost 7, piling up 98 strikeouts and 44 walks in 166.1 innings with a 3.68 ERA. Opponents have hit .257 against him.
Rocha has a career ERA of 3.32 in 784 games. In 799.1 innings he has allowed opposing hitters a .212 batting average and chalked up a 42-67 won-lost mark with 1043 strikeouts.
