Ortega Strokes 5 Hits Sunday, August 20th , 2056 It was high-fives all around for Esteban Ortega at Sacramento Sanitation Station today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Tortolita Drummers. Ortega smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 5-4 win. "Esteban was hitting everything," said Redlegs manager Luis Ríos. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Drummers manager Marcos Costa told BNN beat writers that Ortega "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Ortega oversleeps next time." Esteban Ortega singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
