PL Announces Player of the Week Monday, September 18th , 2056 Basilio Penni must have thought he died and went to heaven this week. First he went on a remarkable batting rampage, hammering the ball at a .286 clip, then the Vancouver third baseman finds out he has been voted the league's top performer and gets the PL Player of the Week Award. For the week Penni batted .286 (6-for-21) with 6 home runs and 13 RBIs. Thus far this year Penni is hitting .263 with 23 home runs, 60 RBIs and 56 runs scored. |
