Rocketeers Dan Wells Down and Out for Year Wednesday, August 23rd , 2056 Dan Wells has to call it a season. The Seattle Rocketeers third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Long Island Lighthouse and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Wells was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a strained oblique and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 weeks. This season Wells has hit at a .264 clip with 53 RBIs, 20 home runs and 46 runs scored. |
