Wells Wins PL Player of the Week Prize Monday, August 14th , 2056 A battle-tested Dan Wells declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Seattle third baseman collected the United States Premier League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .429 average, 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Wells is hitting .273, produced 53 RBIs and 20 home runs, scored 44 times and gotten on base at a .330 rate. |
