Injury Sidelines Arthur Anderson For Year Saturday, August 12th , 2056 Panama City reliever Arthur Anderson could miss the remainder of the season because of an elbow strain. He exited yesterday's D.C. game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Anderson would be out 2-3 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." To date in the season, Anderson is 1-0 with 13 relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .167 average, pitched 18.1 innings, struck out 20 and walked 5 while recording a 1.96 ERA. |
