Hollywood Wins Again, 3-1
The Hollywood Shredders moved to within one game of the ToC Semi-Finals today, downing the Seattle Rocketeers on the road at Boeing Dome by a score of 3-1. Shredders left-hander José Salinas had a strong outing. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Shredders a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC First Round.

Salinas, a native of Duvergé, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Seattle hitters off-balance, while giving the Shredders 8 quality innings. Salinas threw 90 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6.

"We lost," Seattle manager Andrew Powell said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 2nd , 2056 at The Hollywood Bowl in West Hollywood.
