New Orleans Voodoo starter Wes Johnston pitched his team past the Seattle Rocketeers, 5-0. Johnston, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk. The loss drops Seattle to 6-12.

Helping the New Orleans cause was Tak-keung Zha. In the top of the fourth, the 30-year old left fielder had a run-scoring walk to make the score 2-0, Voodoo.
