Piranhas Beat Voodoo, 5-1
|
The Panama City Piranhas beat the New Orleans Voodoo, 5-1, at The Tank. Starting pitcher Cy Dickson was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Andrew Stockton locked down his 2nd save. The loss makes New Orleans 6-5.
Early in the game, second baseman Nathan Pretty had a 2-run home run for Panama City. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Piranhas on top, 2-0.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Dickson.
