Lighthouse Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Voodoo
The Voodoo Lounge was the site of a competitive game between the New Orleans Voodoo and Long Island Lighthouse.

Long Island Lighthouse starter Jorge Carranza pitched his team past the New Orleans Voodoo, 3-2. With the win, Long Island raised its record to 53-53.

Jesús Serrano, the 26-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Serrano contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Long Island up, 3-1.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Serrano.
