Patriots Come Up Short at Buffalo, 4-3
|
Buffalo beat Boston on the strength of starter David O'Farrell's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. O'Farrell picked up the win for Buffalo, going 6 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Buffalo is now riding a 3-game win streak.
With two out in the bottom of the second, Octávio Cruz barreled up a fastball from Bobby Bowles. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the White Walkers in front, 4-0.
After the game, Buffalo manager Chris Lau applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
