Patriots Drop Voodoo, 2-1
The New Orleans Voodoo wasted an inspired, 5-inning effort from starter Wes Johnston, falling 2-1 to the Boston Patriots at The Voodoo Lounge. Boston reliever António Haritos was the winner. His record is now 4-1. George Atwater took the loss. The second-place Patriots raised their record to 51-33.

Boston relied on the bat of Jean Kools to get the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Patriots ahead, 2-1. For the game, Kools had 2 doubles and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Boston field general Tyler Carter.
