Seattle left-hander Bob Kelso helped his team edge D.C. by the score of 3-2. Kelso kept the opposing lineup in check. Ken Wright recorded the save, his 2nd. Seattle, now 44-40, holds down 4th place in the Premier League.

Seattle relied on the hitting of Eugene Hollands to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rocketeers on top, 3-1. For the game, Hollands had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
