The D.C. Divided got a superb performance from pitcher Cheol-han Cho. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Long Island. The Lighthouse won the game, 5-3. Cho threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The winning pitcher was Aaron Daniels. He's now 6-6. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits for the Lighthouse. Long Island now sits at 29-34, while D.C. falls to 25-38.
Long Island grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, David Saunders delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 4-3 in favor of the Lighthouse.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Saunders told the Long Island Chronicle.
