Piranhas Lose to Voodoo, 5-2
|
The New Orleans Voodoo stopped the Panama City Piranhas, 5-2, at The Voodoo Lounge. The Voodoo got a big game from Kyung-chul Son, who was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win belongs to Ronnie Gómez in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Santiago Proximo took the loss for Panama City. George Atwater finished to wrap up his 13th save.
The fans who came to support the Voodoo were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at The Voodoo Lounge.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Son told the New Orleans Gazette.
The win gives New Orleans a season record of 33-28.
