The New Orleans Voodoo picked up a win at The Voodoo Lounge, taking down the Long Island Lighthouse, 6-3. Starting pitcher Pedro Cruz was a big reason why. Cruz picked up the win for New Orleans, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. With the win, New Orleans elevates its record to 3-3.

Graham White made an early impact for New Orleans when he stroked his 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came with one out in the bottom of the second, put the Voodoo on top, 3-1.
