The Boston Patriots had to overcome a fine performance from Seattle pitcher Jorge Quiñonez to grab a 2-1 win at Boeing Dome. Quiñonez allowed no runs over 5.2 innings. The victory gives Boston a record of 25-13.

Boston needed the clutch hitting of Shichirobei Hisamatsu to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Patriots on top, 2-1. For the game, Hisamatsu had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
