Late Magic Gets Seattle 7-3 Win
|
Getting offensive support from U-ram Chong, the Seattle Rocketeers topped the D.C. Divided, 7-3. Chong was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Rocketeers. Billy Richardson collected save number 1. The triumph puts Seattle at 18-18 for the season.
Chong came through with some timely hitting for Seattle. With D.C. trailing 3-2 in the top of the eighth, Chong hit a 2-0 curveball for a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season made it 6-3, Seattle.
"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Chong told the Seattle Citizen.
