Seattle Beats Vancouver in Extra Innings
|
In a low-scoring game between Seattle and Vancouver, pitcher Jorge Quiñonez was excellent. The Seattle right-hander helped his team knock off the Grey Wolves, 1-0. Reliever Billy Richardson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Norman Davis took the loss. The Rocketeers now have a record of 15-15.
The Rocketeers procured the win, in large part because of catcher James Bradley. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Seattle field general Andrew Powell.
