White Walkers Beat Voodoo, 4-2
|
Buffalo catcher William Berg made his presence felt in the 4-2 White Walkers triumph over the New Orleans Voodoo. Berg went 3 for 3 with a triple and 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI. Wing-fung Quan was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. Picking up the save was Nathan May, his 1st.
Berg contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing triple, for Buffalo in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Berg took a fastball from Pedro Cruz and stroked the triple to left-center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the White Walkers to leap in front, 4-2.
