White Walkers Absorb 2-0 Loss at Dunkin Donuts Park
|
In a tight affair between the Boston Patriots and the Buffalo White Walkers, pitcher Bobby Bowles was in the zone. The Boston right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-0. Mitch Henley got the save, the 2nd for him this season. With the win, Boston improves its record to 13-8.
Boston took a 1-0 lead on Victor de Bree's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which de Bree hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Buffalo pitcher Mario Gonzáles visibly frustrated.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Bowles told the Boston Times.
