Potter Pitches Gem as Uruguayans Beat Amarillo, 1-0 Tuesday, May 18th , 2055 Sam Potter led the Germantown Uruguayans to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Amarillo Warheads at Ballpark of Albuquerque today. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Potter recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Potter yielded 1 hit and had 14 strikeouts and 2 walks in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Amarillo manager José López said.
