Theunen Gets Award for Relief Work

The manager of the Long Island Lighthouse said he always had confidence handing the ball to Imbart Theunen out of the bullpen.
The 28-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Long Island and his efforts have been rewarded with the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award for 2055.
The bullpen ace had an impressive 2.66 ERA this season, with 27 saves in 48 relief appearances. He fanned 70 batters in 50.2 innings and sported a record of 5 wins and 4 losses.
Hubert Johnson of the Greenville 84s finished second in voting, while Carroll Kelly of the Detroit Elite finished third.
