SL Announces Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, November 1st , 2055 Alex Thompson of the Mississippi Mockingbirds has been selected the premier pitcher in the United States Silver League and will receive the Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2055. The top vote-getter completed the year with a 8-8 record. He started 25 times, threw 151.1 innings, chalked up 215 strikeouts and 28 walks, limited hitters to a .179 batting average and posted an impressive 2.20 ERA. Howard Randolph of the Long Island Lighthouse finished second in voting, while Gregory Collins of the D.C. Divided finished third. |
