September's SL Batter of Month Award Announced Friday, October 1st , 2055 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Ostoja Popovic has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Oakland Oaks star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the United States Silver League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .414 average with 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and 9 runs scored. So far in 2055 Popovic is batting .299 with 9 home runs, 61 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 126 hits in 421 at-bats and a .325 OBP. |
