Top Player of the Week Goes to Ramírez Monday, August 23rd , 2055 Long Island starting pitcher, Jesús Ramírez dominated the United States Silver League last week and was voted its top player. He paced the league with 2 wins over the last week and was named the SL Player of the Week Award. For the week the Lighthouse hurler compiled a fine 2-0 won-lost record, surrendered 10 hits and fanned 13 in 13.1 innings and put up an impressive 0.67 ERA. This year Ramírez has worked 131.1 innings with 126 strikeouts en route to a 8-2 record and a 2.67 ERA. |
