Stingers Tom Johnston Injured: Day-to-Day Sunday, August 1st , 2055 Tom Johnston of the Toledo Stingers was hurt in yesterday's game with the Kingfishers. He sustained a mild abdominal strain while throwing a pitch and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be one week before the standout starting pitcher will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. To this point in the season, Johnston shows a 6-5 record, 17 starts, 117.2 innings, 124 strikeouts and a 2.22 ERA. |
