Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Der Monday, November 1st , 2055 Min Der was a calming influence out of the Panama City Piranhas bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 26-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the United States Premier League Reliever of the Year Award for 2055. The Kaohsiung, Taiwan native won the award with 23 saves in 55 relief appearances, 116 strikeouts in 92 innings and a record of 2-4 to go with his 2.25 ERA. Ton van Aerden of the Athletic Club KC finished second in voting, while Ronnie Gómez of the New Orleans Voodoo finished third. |
