PL's Best Pitcher is Lahti Monday, November 1st , 2055 The Boston Patriots have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Iiri Lahti, this year's United States Premier League Gold Ball selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Lahti compiled a 9-7 record in 23 starts, tallied 164 strikeouts in 139.2 innings and recorded a 3.22 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .223 batting average against him. Bob Kelso of the Seattle Rocketeers finished second in voting, while Pat Butler of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third. |
