Toledo starter Tom Johnston pitched well against the Kingston Township Knights at Cloverdale Legion Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Stingers' win now puts them at 24-38.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Max King was at the plate when Toledo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Stingers to go in front, 4-3.

"We found a way to get it done," Johnston said.
