St. Louis rode a fine outing from starter Jeffrey Kelley to victory over the Montana Pandas at The BFIB. The final score was 5-2. The win lifts St. Louis to a record of 8-9.

The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the first inning, when the Coeur were trailing 1-0. Carlos Manuel delivered a two-out 2-run home run for St. Louis, catapulting his team into the lead.

In postgame comments to the St. Louis Observer, Kelley said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
