A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Toledo Stingers and Detroit Elite.

Toledo right-hander Eric Riley pitched his team to victory over the Detroit Elite at Pacesetter Park. The final score was 5-2. Riley went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 3-4. Jong-beom Park was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.

Lester Threlfall had a big hit for Toledo in the bottom of the first inning. With Toledo leading 1-0, Threlfall hit a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Stingers up, 3-0.

Threlfall called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
