The Toledo Stingers racked up a win at Pacesetter Park, bumping off the Kingston Township Knights, 3-2. Archie MacMurchy, who started for Toledo, pitched effectively for his team. Jong-beom Park, now 1-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Knights, now 2-10, continue their inauspicious start.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 3rd and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when center fielder Roberto Gómez, who finished 5th in the SL in doubles with 28 last year, hit a run-scoring double. The Stingers went on to win.

Gómez described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
