Grey Wolves Beat White Walkers, 5-2
|
Vancouver Grey Wolves starter Fernando Ríos was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Buffalo White Walkers, 5-2. Ernie Jones recorded the save for Vancouver, his 7th of the season. Vancouver now owns a record of 55-51.
In the bottom of the fifth, Vancouver first baseman Gerald Riley had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Riley stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 3-1, Vancouver. For the game, he went 1-3 with a walk.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Riley said after the game.
