Ft. Worth starter Chase Davis had a strong outing against the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Davis went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 10-5. The win makes Ft. Worth 48-47.
Louis Bletsoe put Ft. Worth in front, 3-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off Martin Luther in the top of the first. It was his 17th home run of the season.
