Gonzáles Plays Big Role in Buffalo Win
|
Mario Gonzáles never let the Cattlemen get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the White Walkers to a win, 2-1. The losses continue to add up for Ft. Worth, which has now fallen 8 times in a row.
Gonzáles worked his mojo for Buffalo. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6.2 innings of work.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Gonzáles told the Buffalo Today.
