Seattle Bats Go Silent in 1-0 Loss
In a tight game between the Ft. Worth Cattlemen and the Seattle Rocketeers, pitcher Jeff McFarland was terrific on the mound. The Ft. Worth right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. McFarland got the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 2 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. McFarland allowed no runs. The save went to Luke Corner, number 20 for him.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Lautaro Lacasa? The Ft. Worth designated hitter had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cattlemen on top, 1-0. For the game, Lacasa had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Lacasa told the Ft. Worth News.

With the win, the Cattlemen improved to 39-29.
