Ft. Worth used a superb performance from starting pitcher Chase Davis to down the New Orleans Voodoo, 4-0. Luke Corner converted his 18th save in 20 tries. Ft. Worth now sits in second place in the Premier League at 35-24.

The Cattlemen got a lift from center fielder Juan Raspaldo, who in the bottom of the sixth stroked a first pitch cutter into right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Cattlemen ahead, 2-0.

"Chase is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson.
