Vancouver Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Ft. Worth third baseman Lautaro Lacasa had a good game, even if his team did not. The Cattlemen dropped a 6-5 decision to Vancouver at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Lacasa was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. The winner was Ernie Jones in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Luke Corner took the loss. Vancouver is in 4th place in the Premier League with a record of 26-24.

The Grey Wolves were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when third baseman Bill Spillman turned a 1-2 cutter from Luke Corner into a 2-run double. The walk-off double electrified the Wolf Den in Vancouver denizens and sent the Grey Wolves home with a thrilling 6-5 win.

"This place sure got loud," said David Krause, the Vancouver manager.
