Cattlemen Roll to 10-3 Win Over Pandas
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen bested the Montana Pandas by a score of 10-3, with second baseman Mhelter Tejano getting the main credit. On the day, Tejano was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Cattlemen. Bobby Bowles got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 5.2 innings. Ft. Worth has an impressive 19-9 record.

Werner Hayes dealt the Pandas a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Ft. Worth leading 1-0, Hayes, who is tied for 8th in the PL in RBI with 17, hit a 2-2 curveball for a bases-clearing double.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Tejano told the Ft. Worth News.
