Raspaldo Homers Twice in 7-1 Cattlemen Win
|
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen stymied the New Orleans Voodoo, 7-1, at The Voodoo Lounge. Juan Raspaldo had a good day at the plate. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Ft. Worth. The winning pitcher was Tony Cowan. His record is now 4-1. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits for the Cattlemen. The Cattlemen, now 14-6, have been on a roll in the early going.
In the top of the third of a scoreless game, Raspaldo hit a 3-run home run to put his team ahead.
