Season Ends for Christopher Tracy of Long Island Wednesday, September 23rd , 2054
The Long Island Lighthouse and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Christopher Tracy would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Tracy was hurt in a recent game against the Seattle Rocketeers while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a partially torn labrum. His doctors think that Tracy will miss about 2 months.
So far this season Tracy has picked up 2 saves in 32 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 2-3 won-lost mark with a 1.23 ERA and fanned 38 batters in 36.2 innings.
