Kingfishers, Shredders Confirm Swap Sunday, July 19th , 2054 BNN has learned the Pittsburgh Kingfishers have reportedly worked out a deal with the Hollywood Shredders. Sources close to the Kingfishers indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 20-year old minor league RF Jorge Vallejo, 19-year old minor league RF Shan-tang Zhou, and 22-year old minor league 2B Anastasio Estrada will be swapped to Pittsburgh with 26-year old LHP Brian Folger heading to Hollywood. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. In 11 starts this season Folger has chalked up a 0-8 record and a 6.75 ERA. |
