Rocketeers March On, Beat Shredders, 5-2

Seattle Rocketeers starter Jorge Quiñonez turned in a top-notch performance against the Hollywood Shredders at Boeing Dome. The result was a win for the Rocketeers, 5-2. Quiñonez went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 6-3. Billy Richardson closed the door for Seattle, picking up his 7th save of the year.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Yamato Sato contributed a big hit for the Rocketeers. With Seattle trailing 2-1, he hammered a solo home run.
"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell.
The second-place Rocketeers have won 6 straight.
